from the public. They arrested a 50-year-old female from the town on suspicion of the production of a controlled class B drug. Whilst at the suspect’s address officers found 40 cannabis plants in a large wooden garden shed and a further 20 plants in the garage.
PC Tim Rust explained “Yesterday’s find is very positive for the community, we estimate the plants have a street value of £30,000. We’re grateful to the public for providing intel about criminal activity – even small details will add to our intelligence picture and can be the final link, enabling us to take action.”
