Missing Phoebe found, man charged with abduction

Missing 13-year-old Phoebe Lock was found safe and well yesterday in Swindon. The police would like to thank the public, Phoebe’s family and the media for their support during the search. Phoebe will now be reunited with her family. Can you help? Police are continuing with their enquiries to locate missing 13-year-old girl Phoebe Lock and are becoming increasingly concerned for her safety. Phoebe was last seen at her home in Leigh-on-Mendip at around 9pm on Wednesday night 25th May. The police believe she may be with an older boy who she has met recently.

Flood volunteer efforts – can you help?

The floods may have gone, but the need for volunteers to help with the recovery in parts of Somerset remains as great as ever. And people continue to volunteer. Each day around 25 people have been turning up to assist those affected by flooding, doing everything from cleaning houses and removals, to gardening and DIY.
